About Me

I'm Jonathan Bair, a communications and public affairs professional in Oakland, California. I am available for freelance writing and editing projects.

I am a former President of Walk Oakland Bike Oakland, a former member of the Executive Committee of the Northern Alameda County Group of the Sierra Club, San Francisco Bay Chapter, and a former Chair of Oakland's Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee. I was a Special Assistant to former Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf.

In 2011, I was given the Making Democracy Work award by the Oakland League of Women Voters.
